Service - Reset functions
Diverse settings, counters or data memory in a controller can be reset to factory settings or cleared using the reset functions.
The RESET functions that are available depend on the controller connected and your access authorization.
Valid platforms:
- DIWA.3 via E200
- DIWA.3 via E310
- DIWA.5
- DIWA.6 via KWP
- DIWA.6 via UDS
- DIWAhybrid E300.1
- DIWAhybrid M300
How to open the Reset functions
The Reset functions are accessed via the Service group in the main window. Then select the Reset functions button in the Service menu.
The Reset functions are offered depending on the connected ECU. No functions are available without communication.
The display changes automatically after you have started the communication.
Triggering a reset function
Press the Reset button for the required reset function.
There is a final safety prompt for whether you really want to carry out the reset function.
The result of the reset function is displayed by the status circle. A successful reset is indicated by a blue checkmark.
